As of Wednesday, April 10, 2024, Sterling is now processing criminal records in 103 Kansas county jurisdictions that have confirmed they have completed updating their court case information. At this time, only Butler County remains unavailable as they are still working to complete record updates. Estimated turnaround times for pending criminal and civil checks will vary. Sterling is continuing to monitor and validate the progress of Butler County.
As a reminder, updated criminal and civil record data from the Kansas Judicial Branch has been unavailable due to a technical issue with the state’s information system that occurred in October 2023.
